**Original 1970 US First Pressing - Apple Records (SW-385)**
Up for sale is a beautiful, highly collectible true 1970 US first-press copy of the Beatles' compilation LP "Hey Jude."
**THE LABEL MISPRINT:**
This is the prized early production run variant featuring the working title **"THE BEATLES AGAIN"** printed across the top of the Apple labels on BOTH Side 1 and Side 2. Capitol Records officially renamed the album right before shipping, making this mismatched text format a classic, authentic first-press misprint.
**JACKET CONDITION: Very Good Plus (VG+)**
The album cover is beautifully preserved inside its original factory shrink wrap ( opened down the entry seam to remove the disc). Because it has been protected by the plastic for over 50 years, the jacket features bright colors, clean edges, and no ring wear. Features a fantastic vintage retail price sticker ($4.87 marked down from $5.98) completely intact on the outer shrink wrap.
**VINYL CONDITION: Very Good Plus (VG+)**
The vinyl retains an excellent, high-gloss sheen across the grooves on both sides. No deep scratches or structural gouges. Minimal faint surface hairlines or paper sleeve scuffs visible under direct light. Paper center labels are clean with crisp text and bright green apple graphics.
