SDCC 2026 Jurassic Park III 25th Anniversary Comic Velociraptor Mattel Exclusive

2026 San Diego Comic-Con Exclusive — Mattel Jurassic World Collector Edition — 25th Anniversary Comic-Style Velociraptor

Mattel item JMC71 · UPC [removed]

Official San Diego Comic-Con 2026 exclusive. Sold at Mattel's Booth #2945 to lottery winners through the Comic-Con Exclusives Portal, with a limited online allocation through Mattel Creations.

What it is: A specially decorated Velociraptor marking the 25th anniversary of Jurassic Park III, announced by Mattel as part of the Hammond Collection. The figure carries a comic-style deco — hand-inked linework, cross-hatching, and flat color rendered directly onto the sculpt — and features multiple points of articulation. Per Mattel's announcement, it's the first Hammond Collection dinosaur produced in this comic treatment.

Packaging is a big part of the appeal: a premium comic-book-styled window box with a claw-slash die cut, mock issue banner reading "Velociraptor #1, July 2026," and an inner comic-panel backdrop that frames the figure like a printed page. The outer cover sleeve slides off by design to reveal the comic panel display underneath. Box back reads: it was 25 years ago when Jurassic Park III roared into theaters, and in honor of the anniversary the Velociraptor has been transformed from the box office to the toy box.

Includes:

• Comic-style Velociraptor figure
• Premium comic-panel window box packaging with slide-off cover sleeve

Condition: New and sealed. The figure remains sealed in its original blister inside the box and has never been removed or handled. The outer cover sleeve slides off as designed — nothing was unsealed, cut, or opened to take the photos shown. Shipped from Mattel Creations in their branded outer carton. Photos are representative of the item; all copies are in comparable condition.

Shipping: Ships inside the original Mattel Creations shipping carton, placed in a larger padded overpack box. Two layers of protection around the collector box, so the comic-style packaging arrives in the condition pictured. Packed for collectors — box condition drives value on exclusives and it's treated that way.

Product photos from Mattel are included to show the figure in detail.
