♪ Big Jaw of the Deep ♪

Feraligatr, the Big Jaw Pokémon (オーダイル) . Johto's water starter, grown from Totodile through Croconaw into the full-grown Big Jaw at the end of the line.

For all that size, its powerful hind legs carry it fast, even on dry land. Nothing about it is slow.

On the card, its Poké-Power Major Tsunami sends a wave across the field: your opponent has to pull their Active Pokémon back to the Bench, and Feraligatr dives back to yours. Then Rending Jaws bites for 70, or 40 if the defender hasn't taken a hit yet.

✧ The First e‑Card ✧

Expedition opened the e‑Card era on September 15, 2002. Its wider left and bottom borders carry Dot Code strips for Nintendo's e‑Reader: swipe the card and Feraligatr's Pokédex entry plays on your Game Boy Advance.

It was also the first all-new English expansion printed with no 1st Edition run. Every Feraligatr from Expedition is the only edition there is.

This is the Holo Rare, 12/165. Every Holo Rare in Expedition was also printed as a plain non-holo Rare, so the holo, with its foil sparkling through Mitsuhiro Arita's art window, is the one to chase.
