Description
This is a fan made release.
Garfield: The Lost Levels was a special version of Garfield: Caught in the Act (1995) released only on Sega Channel in North America. It replaced three of the game’s original levels with cut content that didn’t make it into the retail Sega Genesis/Mega Drive release due to time constraints.
Three levels included:
Bonehead the Barbarian – A snow-themed, viking-inspired stage with slippery physics and a cliff-top boss fight. This level also appeared in the Game Gear version
Alien Landscape – A sci-fi stage set on an alien planet, later included in the 1997 Windows 95 port.
Catsablanca train sequence – A cut train segment from the Catsablanca level..
History and Disappearance:
The game premiered on Sega Channel in February 1996 and aired until August 1997. Because it was exclusive to the service, it was never widely available, and for decades it was considered lost to video game history.
