This copy comes from my personal collection and remains factory sealed and unplayed. This is the highly regarded 2003 30th Anniversary Edition of The Dark Side of the Moon—an issue that has become particularly desirable among Pink Floyd collectors and listeners looking for an excellent analog pressing of this landmark album.

🎚️ WHY THIS 2003 PRESSING IS SPECIAL

The real attraction of this edition is what went into the mastering. Doug Sax and Kevin Gray mastered the 30th Anniversary LP at AcousTech using the original Dolby-A stereo master tape, played back through a custom tube tape machine. Gray cut the lacquers, which were subsequently plated at RTI, with the commercial records pressed in Holland.

That gives this release something increasingly important to vinyl collectors: a direct connection between the original analog master tape and the finished vinyl record, handled by two highly respected mastering engineers.

🎧 A COLLECTOR-FAVORITE EDITION

There are countless pressings of Dark Side of the Moon, but the 2003 30th Anniversary edition has developed its own following. In addition to its analog mastering pedigree, it was produced as a premium 180-gram heavyweight vinyl release and recreates the classic gatefold presentation.

The package includes the original-style posters and stickers, plus a special 30th Anniversary poster. Since this copy remains sealed, the original contents have never been removed.
